How we work

You set the pace. We listen first, and we'll be honest about what we think can help.

Practical
Alongside talking, you leave with small, concrete things to try during the week.
Collaborative
Goals are yours. We check in regularly on whether therapy is helping.
Respectful
All backgrounds, identities and beliefs are welcome here.

Questions you might have

Anything else? Ask us on your free call — there are no silly questions.

Is what I share confidential?

Yes. What you say in session stays private, with a few legal exceptions — such as a risk of serious harm — that your therapist will explain at the start.

How do I know if a therapist is a good fit?

That's what the free 15-minute call is for. And if it doesn't feel right after a few sessions, tell us — we'll help you find someone who fits better, here or elsewhere.

Can I do sessions online?

Yes. We offer secure video sessions for anyone located in Oregon at the time of the session.

How long does therapy take?

Some people come for a few months to work on one thing; others stay longer. You and your therapist will check in on progress regularly.

Do I need a diagnosis to start?

No. Many people come simply because things feel heavy. If you use insurance, your plan may require a diagnosis for billing, and we'll talk that through openly.
